Called the “District on Tryon,” the project includes around 75,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, and either offices or a hotel near the intersection of South Tryon Street and West Tyvola Road, said Zack Kosofsky, a partner at Woodhaven Development Group, one of the developers. Zack Kosofsky, a partner at Woodhaven Development Group—one of the developers, said that the project will be built in phases and with target completion by 2022. The other developer of the project is the Ghazi Company.
